Tisdag is a young band from Espoo that plays music ranging from jazz to rock. The band’s original material leans toward light rock, with piano and guitar playing a central role. The band was originally formed at Ebeli and now performs gigs outside of Ebeli as well. On this occasion, the group will perform at the F-Music Stage in an exceptional, smaller trio lineup.

JEN is a vocal group consisting of three friends. They have been singing together for nearly three years. JEN performs a wide variety of songs.

This young and energetic quartet brings the swing and freedom of the jazz tradition to the stage. The repertoire is built around jazz standards, drawing inspiration from artists such as Wes Montgomery, Wayne Shorter, and Sonny Rollins. There are also touches from the rock side—in the spirit of Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Expect jazz influenced by hard bop and post-bop, with a lively, swinging sound that gets your foot tapping and your mind tuned in!

Chiara Orlandi Finnish 5tet is led by Italian singer Chiara Orlandi.The quintet performsoriginal compositions shaped by Nordic jazz aesthetics, modern sounds and impressionsfrom everyday life, alongside selected jazz standards rearranged with a fresh and personalapproach.Their music draws inspiration from the Nordic sound of Jan Garbarek and the vocal freedomof Cècile McLorin Salvant.The project brings together Nordic atmospheres and Mediterranean warmth, creating adistinctive sound and expressive identity.

Aikara is a Helsinki-based folk ensemble formed by a group of second-year students from the Pop & Jazz Conservatory. They are united by a passion and skill for performing traditional European folk music with a personal and fresh twist. Their pieces often feature improvised solos, the use of effects, and a general sense of fun. The musicians of Aikara bring extensive performance experience from various ensembles and events. Their expertise is evident in their creative arrangements and colorful ways of blending folk music with other genres. Aikara also has the flexibility to adapt into different ensemble sizes depending on the occasion. Thanks to their relaxed and audience-engaging performance style, their music works equally well for intimate coffee gatherings as it does in large concert halls.

Sibis Jazz Youngsters is an ensemble made up of musicians studying in the Sibelius Academy’s youth education program. Their playing reflects youthful energy and a sense of surprise. At their performance, you can expect to hear familiar jazz standards along with the skill and virtuosity of these young musicians.
